All vehicle passengers, without exception, must fasten their seatbelts before starting the engine.
Children under 12 are not allowed to sit in the front, unless special car seats for children are installed. Likewise special devices must be used for animals.
You should not drink alcohol, as your physical reactions as well as your reflexes will be diminished, provoking euphoria and false safety feeling.
Do not eat, nor drink while driving. Do not browse maps, nor programme your navigator.
Always keep a safe distance, drive on the right side, except to overtake and go back to the right lane as soon as possible.
It is strictly forbidden to reverse in a toll motorway. If you miss an exit or a service area, please drive until the next one, never drive backwards.

When driving in a tailback: then you must remain in your lane, avoiding lanes changes and using a convenient speed.
If a slow vehicle lane exists, you can use it only if your speed is lower than the one posted.
Overtake to the left and go back to the right lane as soon as possible. Before changing lanes look through the rear mirrors, be sure that the lane is free and always signpost with blinkers.
Respect the other vehicles, do not invade lanes occupied by motorcyclists, do not speed when entering a motorway, do not enter overtaking a heavy vehicle and do not zigzag.
Never drive on the hard shoulder, it is strictly forbidden.
Never drive over 2 hours or 200 km without stopping to rest
During trips over 2 hours, or 200 km, it is recommended to take a light to moderate intake of high protein and high vitamin foods, avoiding fats, high calories or flatulent food.
Focus on the road, do not get distracted, and drive at an adequate speed. At night avoid extreme heating
Travel with you luggage inside the boot; avoid the use of luggage racks
